Synopsis and Plot Summary
At her advancement ceremony, Cheng Yan was betrayed by her martial brother Cheng Tian, who forced her into dual cultivation. In despair, she shattered her inner core but was saved by her beast companion.
Cheng Yan (Chen Fangtong) later learned Cheng Tian (Jiang Yushan) was possessed by an ancient beast named Sha. Seeking revenge, Cheng Yan refined an artifact to restore her powers but it left her with a fatal poison. She married the "beast" Chen (Fang Xiaodong), then sent him away to the demon realm. Enraged, Chen returned—only to find Cheng Yan reborn as the immortal Lu Ming.
