Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set in a southern Chinese city in the early 21st century, Playing Go follows Cui Ye, a simple Go teacher whose life unravels after he's unintentionally caught up in a crime.
As Cui Ye gets deeper into a world of crime, his path inevitably crosses with that of his brother, Cui Wei, a dedicated police officer. The gripping narrative explores the intense conflict between the two brothers, now on opposing sides of the law, each trying to outsmart the other while facing their own moral dilemmas.
