Synopsis and Plot Summary
Based on the novel by Xiao Ge, this coming-of-age story follows a group of childhood friends—Jing Qichi, Song Cong, Chen Huan’er, Qi Qi, and others—who grow up together in a close-knit residential compound.
In the summer of 2007, sixteen-year-old Chen Huan’er moves from the small town of Sishui to the bustling city of Tianhe due to her mother’s job transfer. There, she meets Jing Qichi, a boy passionate about soccer, and Song Cong, a top student. Despite her initial struggles, Huan’er’s optimism helps her adapt. Through every major milestone in life, even the unexpected turns—school, career, and dreams—they remain each other’s constant support.
