Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set in the Southern Song Dynasty, the story follows Song Ci, a judicial officer, who encounters danger while on an inspection tour.
By chance, Song Ci (Gao Yiwei) crosses paths with Zhao Zhiting (Cai Zhengjie), a Southern Opera performer; Wang Ling (Liu Jianyu), and He Wenning (Wang Junbi), a dancer. Despite their differing backgrounds, the four gradually learn to work together, using interrogation, reasoning, and autopsy skills to solve four murder cases, bringing justice to the dead and fairness to the living.
