Synopsis and Plot Summary
Wen Yifan unexpectedly reunites with her high school classmate, Sang Yan after returning to her hometown for work. Though they pretend not to know each other, chance encounters bring them closer.
When Wen Yifan (Zhang Ruonan) faces disturbance from a neighbor and Sang Yan's (Bai Jingting) apartment is damaged by a fire, the two end up becoming unlikely roommates. Living together breaks down their barriers, and Sang Yan's caring nature helps Wen Yifan open up. Encouraged, she bravely pursues him, and Sang Yan responds with a heartfelt confession of his feelings. Wen Yifan later reveals why she broke a promise to attend the same university as him, and Sang Yan vows to protect her.
