Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set in the Tang Dynasty, the story follows He Wei Fang, a merchant's daughter with a gift for cultivating peonies. After ending an unfulfilling marriage, she crosses paths with Jiang Chang Yang, an official in Chang'an.
He Wei Fang (Yang Zi) builds a thriving peony business, empowering a group of struggling women to create a renowned flower brand. As she witnesses the struggles of ordinary people, she resolves to reform the industry for the greater good. Along the way, her partnership with Jiang Chang Yang (Li Xian) blossoms into a secret romance. Facing a rebellion, the two join forces to restore peace.
