Airport Strikers

The Hong Kong Airport Special Police Unit (ASU) is a special police force responsible for maintaining public and aviation security, counter-terrorism, key personnel protection, disaster support and many other areas. An airport robbery occurs and a suspect escapes causing a serious traffic accident that involves a number of off-duty officers who came to the rescue.

Off-duty police officers Zhang Jingshan (Owen Cheung), Ma Rongyi (Mat Yeung), Zhang Zhenhe (Hugo Wong), Xin Kaiqing (Sisley Choi) and Jiang Haozheng (Jackson Lai) happen to arrive at the airport to participate in the rescue operation and arrest of a suspect. One year later, Jingshan, Kaiqing, Shi Hua (Gloria Tang) and Brian Chu (Zhu Minhan) who belonged to different police departments report to ASU at the same time.

Braving four days and three nights of selection process followed by twelve weeks of rigorous training under the strict guidance of Man Sir (Eddie Kwan), the four forge a strong friendship as they are integrated with the old members of ASU. Encountering different situations on duty, they see the joys and sorrow of life that make them reflect on their own lives. With every step forward, they establish a sense of mission as the airport security police.

• The costume fitting and blessing ceremony was held on September 10, 2018 at Tseung Kwan O TVB Studio.
• Sisley Choi cut her hair short for the role.
• Mat Yeung shares that many of the cast members had to go to the gym regularly to get fit for the role.
• Filming lasted three months from September to December 2018.
• The premiere was initially postponed likely due to its theme as it was a sensitive time in Hong Kong due to clash between police and protesters.
