Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story revolving around two warring tribes and the two brothers who are caught in the middle of it due to their connection to the Xuan Yuan Sword.

During the ancient times, Huang Di defeated countless demons. The intense battle has forged two swords which later become sword spirits that resided within Zhao Yun and Mu Yun. Zhao Yun and Mu Yun are two brothers who were separated when they were young. As they became of age, Zhao Yun is a leader of the Fei Yu Army while Mu Yun is a fearsome fighter of the Tong Que Army. Neither are aware of each other's existence as they face off numerous times as enemies. When Zhao Yun finds out the truth, he tries his best to save his younger brother from the dangerous life that he's been leading. With the help of Ye Ya Xi, a young lady from a faraway tribe who has powers of her own, the three join forces to fight evil for the sake of good.

• It had multiple schedule changes during its run, initially airing two episodes every Monday & Tuesday on Dragon TV. It was later moved to Mondays only then to the Wednesday & Thursday slot after Lost Love in Times completed airing.
• The show was suddenly taken off the air for the week of Oct 16 to resume airing on Nov 1.
• Filming took place in Hengdian World Studios.
• Many of the actors such as Vengo Gao, Leon Zhang and Daisy Dai Si are talents of Jaywalk Studio (also associated with Yang Mi Studio).
