Synopsis and Plot Summary
Pretty Boy follows Qing Cai, the son of a former king, who chooses to live incognito in a quiet town to escape the political intrigues of the royal court. However, when his adoptive father Han Zhong faces a life-threatening danger, Qing Cai is forced to disguise himself as a woman and infiltrate Mingyi Manor, a secluded sect for female disciples.
At Mingyi Manor, Qing Cai (Darren Chen) encounters Gan Pu (Zheng Hehuizi), a determined orphan from the Mo Sect seeking revenge, along with other intriguing characters, each hiding their own secrets and agendas, including the enigmatic Wang Yishao (Zhu Zanjin), the loyal Han Aizhen (Wang Zijia), and the spirited Gao Yin (Jiang Mengxuan). Qing Cai's efforts to conceal his identity lead to a series of comical and heartwarming moments, while his growing connection with Gan Pu evolves from bickering rivals to heartfelt partners. Yet, their budding romance faces obstacles as their true identities and conflicting missions are revealed.
