Synopsis and Plot Summary
In the late 1990s, siblings Cheng Miaomiao (17) and Cheng Yaya (16) move with their family from Xibei to the seaside town of Heping.
Yearning for adventure, Miaomiao persuades her childhood friend Li Si and best friend Hu Qiumin to join her on a summer trip to Hong Kong, but things quickly go awry. Meanwhile, Yaya’s archaeology hobby leads to him being mistaken for a tomb robber. As the siblings navigate new challenges, including Miaomiao's friendship troubles and a classmate with a criminal parent, they find themselves growing up in unexpected ways.
