Synopsis and Plot Summary
Gu Yizhong, a Suzhou native and Architecture graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, returns to China only to be framed as a traitor during the war.
After a failed rescue mission exposes his underground party, Gu Yizhong (Joseph Zeng) infiltrates Japanese collaborators to clear his name. As an undercover agent in Suzhou, he battles wits with station chief Zhou Zhifei (Zhang Songwen) and Japanese advisor Kondo Tatsuo. Amidst immense pressure, his faith and courage grow, bolstering the Suzhou underground organization.
