Synopsis and Plot Summary
At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Jin invaded, and corrupt officials ruled. Two men, Guo Xiaotian and Yang Tiexin, betrothed their unborn children but suffered under Jin soldiers.
Taoist Qiu Chuji and the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan agreed to find and train the children for a duel in eighteen years. Guo Jing and Yang Kang grew up under their respective masters. Guo Jing fell in love with Huang Rong, facing challenges from "Western Venom" Ouyang Feng. Yang Kang, driven by greed, allied with the Jins. Guo Jing's journey transforms him from a naive young man into a resolute hero.
