Synopsis and Plot Summary
During the tumultuous end of the Tang Dynasty, the Prince of Liang seizes power and eliminates the heir to the throne. Tian An Ye, a charcoal seller, becomes unwittingly involved in the conspiracy. As allies and enemies blur, secrets are revealed, and the truth behind the sacrifices in Liang City emerges. Tian An Ye ultimately fights imperial soldiers, rescues a mother and child, and escapes Chang'an.
