Synopsis and Plot Summary
Sichuan girl Ma Zhuo and Xia Ze were childhood sweethearts, yet they face a family crisis that turns them into the "daughter of the victim" and the "son of the suspect." Together, they navigate a truth-seeking journey.
When Ma Zhuo (Li Tingting), aged 8, moved to Chengdu with her mother, Chen Guoguo, fate led her to meet Xia Ze (Zhou Chengao), a brotherly neighbor. Their childhood friendship blossomed into love, and despite parental objections, they remained committed to each other. Tragedy struck when Ma Zhuo's mother suddenly passed away, implicating Xia Ze's father, Xia Gang, as the main suspect. Years later, Ma Zhuo, now a skilled lawyer, returned to Linjiang and reunited with Xia Ze.
