Synopsis and Plot Summary
In a northeastern town of Lanhe, the tranquility is shattered by a heinous crime that claims three lives, each victim meeting their demise through distinct and puzzling means.
Captain Guan Yu (Chen Jianbin), at the helm of the Lanhe Criminal Police Team, swiftly initiates a probing investigation into this enigmatic tragedy. The suspects unravel in a chilling sequence—Yang Si (Hu Jun), a recently paroled ex-convict with a turbulent past; Yang Si's stepson Yang Xuesong (Wang Guangyuan) and Yan Hongqiao's ex-wife Wang Ping (Deng Jiajia) who both had emotional entanglements with the two victims, and a mysterious man who has been dead for many years on file.
