Synopsis and Plot Summary
Against the backdrop of a declining traditional print media, Ye Rongxuan, an ambitious editor-in-chief, and Zhou Ran, a girl with dreams in fashion, attempt to breathe new life into the industry. They overcome obstacles as they move forward and bravely pursue their dreams.
Some people say that society is a university from which we can never graduate. However, Zhou Ran (Crystal Zhang) has been cast out from this "university" due to repeated blows since entering the workplace. She accidentally offends her boss and loses her job at a fashion magazine. What's worse, her boyfriend of five years has cheated on her and her mother owes a huge debt. Although deep in the quagmire, Zhou Ran never gets discouraged. She looked everywhere for a job and for once, fate has favoured her.
Zhou Ran's work catches the eye of Ye Rongxuan (Peter Sheng), the new editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine who hires her as his assistant. For Zhou Ran who comes from an ordinary background, she is completely out of place in the fashion world. She endures the sarcasm and ridicule of her colleagues, while fulfilling the strict requirements of her boss Ye Rongxuan. She firmly believes that hard work will pay off, but she suddenly gets caught in dating rumours with him.
