Synopsis and Plot Summary
Shen Qingxia who's the daughter of the wealthy Shen family is killed the day before she was supposed to marry into a warlord family known as the Nie family. For the sake of revenge, Xiaodie, the Shen family maid, pretends to be the bride.
In order to find out the truth behind the death of the young miss, Xiaodie (Ke Ying) assumes the identity of the wealthy Shen Qingxia and marries Nie Zhen (Wen Yuan) the young marshal of the Nie family. When all signs point to Nie Zhen as the perpetrator, what awaits Xiaodie is not a simple act of revenge, but love and hate intertwined. However, the "villain" seems to have a kind and true face while an old "friend" is cloaked in a black veil of tyranny.
