Synopsis and Plot Summary
Gu Yu, a talented female forensic doctor, sneaks into a mental sanatorium to launch an investigation but her secret plan is botched by a murder, and she is almost framed as the culprit. The incident leads to the acquaintance of police detective Bai Lu.
The female forensic doctor and the female cop are like fire aand water, but their team up has solved a number of strange cases. During a case that they are working on, the two ladies accidentally discover a trace of Gu Yu's missing brother. Furthermore, his disappearance is inextricably linked to the death of Bai Lu's boyfriend, all of which point to an overseas drug syndicate. Their fates become interlinked through their loved ones, and they share a common goal - to uproot the source of all evil. They firmly believe that under every trace lies the truth.
