Synopsis and Plot Summary
An anonymous report to the police has ignited a mysterious case. Human nature, people's rights, and their desires are revealed one by one in the process of finding the "imperfect" truth.
Lawyer Lin Kan (Zhou Xun) accepts a suspect's case and relies on her professionalism and skills to investigate and overturn criminal charges brought on by the victim Zhao Xun (Lin Yun). However, the conflict between legal facts and personal emotional puts Lin Kan in a difficult position.
