Synopsis and Plot Summary
Xu Yin who hails from a medical family changes her appearance in order to switch identities with the prime minister's daughter Xu Qingqing and marry the lame general. Husband and wife go from being suspicious of each other to partners.
Xu Yin's (Li Muchen) father was poisoned by the lame general Gu Shenghan (Wang Zuyi). For the sake of revenge, she infiltrates the general's manor by marrying him. Gu Shenghan who has a secret of his own is very wary of her but over time, he soon learns that Xu Yin is the woman who healed him many years ago. It sets him off on a road to protecting his dear wife. No matter how many times she tries to kill him, he swears to protect her until death.
