Synopsis and Plot Summary
The "sadomasochistic" author of romance novels and a TV planner who only wants happy endings accidentally enter a fan-fiction world, it sets the stage for a tug-of-war as they rewrite the plot.
In order to complete her KPI and win the rights to adapt a popular novel, Song Yanqi (Lu Yuxiao) crosses paths with author Ji Shu (Theo Zhu) who suffers from emotional disorders. A believer of happy endings, she is appalled to learn that his story which started out as a sweet romance is doomed to fall apart. What's worse, she's accidentally been transported into the fanfic she has written herself to become the "protector of love" in this world. To her surprise, the second male lead who's rendered her always on guard turns out to be none other than Ji Shu. Because of the direction of the plot, the two interweave between reality and fiction and in the process of rewriting the novel, they also grow together.
