Synopsis and Plot Summary
A report that the renowned Great Wheel Group has covered up the truth behind a mining accident turns Qu Jianghe into a central figure in a fight against crime.
Police deputy director Qu Jianghe (Pan Yueming) intervenes in the investigation of a mining accident but he soon comes to realize that there is no clear line between black and white. Out of their various interests, his opponents, friends, and even his superiors demand to cover up the truth. The newly-appointed female director Yan Ge (Chen Shu) never expected that reality would be so cruel and valiant. Covering up is a greater evil than the evil itself.
