Synopsis and Plot Summary
Based on historical events in the 1930s, it follows Chinese women in "red headscarves" who learn to become self-reliant.
Ouyang Tianqing (Xiao Yan) and Kuang Caiyun (Zhang Xiwen) are women from Guangdong who have traveled far to Nanyang to make a living. Tianqing works as a "red headscarf" laborer and becomes their leader of the sisters working there. Together, they create their own legendary tale in the Nanyang region.
