Synopsis and Plot Summary
In the small town of Hualin, taxi driver Wang Xiang never imagined he would still have the chance to meet the person he most wants to and is also most afraid to see. Is it an enemy or an old friend? Upon their encounter, there need to be closure, for himself and for his son.
In the small town of Hualin, at that time, train driver Wang Xiang (Fan Wei) was high-spirited. He would drive twenty steel giants yet he couldn't deal with trivial matters in his family of three. The factory is crumbling, and crisis is looming. A bag of unidentified corpses was like a rock that smashed the surface of the water and also dealt a blow in Wang Xiang's mind. The ripples lasted for 20 years until the autumn leaves turned yellow and never stopped.
The lost father, the dead lover, and the reunited old friend are trapped in three different eras due to an unsolved mystery. When the mystery is revealed, everything becomes connected and only the elegy of fate remains in the long season.
