Synopsis and Plot Summary
Duan Ruonan and Fan Xiaowei used to be best friends. When Xiaowei was betrayed by a scumbag, Ruonan took her in. However, Xiaowei and Ruonan's boyfriend Li Xiao soon begin a forbidden romance.
On Ruonan (Liu Yongxi) and Li Xiao's (Liu Chenglin) anniversary, the emotional entanglements between the three reach the breaking point. The former best friends are now like fire and water and Ruonan chooses to leave. As the passion between Li Xiao and Fan Xiaowei gradually fades, the extremely insecure Xiaowei (Mai Tong) becomes irrationally controlling towards Li Xiao. By chance, Ruonan and Li Xiao cross paths again. Feeling suffocated by Xiaowei, Li Xiao wants out. Xiaowei pins all of the blame on Ruonan and joins her company with vengeance in mind.
