Synopsis and Plot Summary
Due to a nagging question that has bothered him all his life, the editor-in-chief of a science fiction magazine embarks on a journey in search of extraterrestrial civilization.
Tang Zhijun (Yang Haoyu) is the editor-in-chief of Cosmic Exploration, a science fiction magazine established in the 1980s. The magazine has been declining day by day putting Tang Zhijun on track to become a down-and-out, widowed and lonely man nearing his middle age. However, he continues to be obsessed with finding extraterrestrial civilizations. One day, he receives an abnormal signal that seems to come from the depths of the universe, so he gathers friends just like him on a journey to find aliens.
