Synopsis and Plot Summary

It follows the story of Gong Zi Yu, a wayward and kind-hearted prince, and Yun Weishan, a spy who enters the palace doors in hopes of breaking from her shackles.

The Gong family's gates are opening for the brides who will participate in a marriage selection and female assassin Yun Weishan (Yu Shuxin) takes advantage of the opportunity to sneak in. When the master of the Gong family and his intended heir are slayed, fourth prince Gong Zi Yu (Zhang Linghe) is forced to take the position as the new master of the palace. Yun Weishan has no choice but to target Gong Zi Yu instead. She becomes his wife as she intended thinking that she can finally complete her mission and gain freedom. However, what awaits her is an even more dangerous challenge and the only one she can use is Gong Zi Yu, the seemingly ignorant young master who was forced into a position of power.
