Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells a story about individuals in the Chinese nuclear industry who work hard to reailze their dream for China to have its own world-class nuclear power plant.
In 1986, a Yugoslavian nuclear power expert, came to Donghai Nuclear Power Plant and questioned China's ability to build nuclear power plants. Thereafter, Ye Jiaming (Guo Xiaodong) and Lin Tiancheng (Hai Yitian) fully devote themselves to the reconstruction of the power plant. In the same year, Ye Jiaming and Lin Tiancheng both become fathers as their sons Ye Qichen (Wayne Liu) and Lin Qi (Zheng Yecheng) are born one after another. They represent the next generation making new breakthroughs in nuclear power technology.
