Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set during the Tang Dynasty, the Xu clan, which was the richest in Lingnan, was destroyed in a fire. Seven years later, those who witnessed the massacre are invited to a mysterious storytelling meeting.
Zhou Yu (Chang Bin) who is the number one storyteller in the land is trapped on a deserted island with seven other listeners. Many clues on the island point to the "Xu Family Massacre" many years ago. Everyone must use the clues in the six stories to find the murderer, pitting wits and will to uncover the secret. However, they didn't anticipate that with the end of every story, one person dies.
