Synopsis and Plot Summary
As the sole heir of the Qian family, Qian Ye is troubled by the family curse that will subject her to experience misfortune at the age of twenty-nine, so she has to accept the bodyguard her grandmother has hired to protect her.
Due to their different backgrounds and personalities, Qian Ye (Yang Lei) and her bodyguard Wu Shimao (Chen Shengheng) are constantly in conflict with each other. Qianye tries her best to drive Wu Shimao away yet he risks his life to rescue her from her ex-boyfriend and brings her back to the place of the Plum Blossom Fist.
Wu Shimao's master agrees to take Qian Ye in temporarily on the condition that she will not disturb other disciples from practicing. Who would have thought that Qianye's grandma is actually an old friend of Wu Shimao's master? His master uncharacteristically turns into the biggest "wingman" to help the two find love. At this moment, Qianye's ex reappears, vowing to take her back.
