Synopsis and Plot Summary

Xu Hongdou fell into a trough in her life and work due to the death of her best friend. She goes to the "windy courtyard" in Yunmiao Village, Dali alone to rest and rethink her life. There, she meets Xie Zhiyao, a local who quit his high-paying job and returned to his hometown to start a business.

Still grieving the death of her friend, Xu Hongdou (Liu Yifei) is among a group of individuals who have left the city to go to the countryside. Trusty local Xie Zhiyao (Li Xian) encourages Hongdou to use her years of experience in the hotel industry to improve the service awareness of employees in the area and help develop the cultural tourism in Yunmiao Village. At the same time, Xie Zhiyao invites Xu Hongdou to join a project to build his hometown so that they can explore the full potential of those who are capable and give the elderly a place to lean on. In Dali, Xu Hongdou and the other people at their small courtyard are inspired by the tenacity of the villagers. As they settle down in this windy place. they gain the strength to start again.
