Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells stories from the perspectives of three women in the years 1993, 2008 and 2022 and the countless possibilities as they embrace their "first times."
The story jumps through three different time periods in the same obstetrics and gynecology hospital. From childbirth, marriage, career and family, it revolves around three couples such as Dai Sijin (Myolie Wu) and Lu Minglei (Liu Kai) catching up with the rising tide of the times in 1993. In 2008, Chen Lanqing (Tina Tang) and Cheng Lingxian (Ai Lun) are already parents yet they still have a lot of growing up to do. The couple find themselves caught between their mothers and mothers-in-law. In 2022, Lu Yuanfang (Avva Wang) and Xia Zhixiong (Ma Zhiwei) find their carefully planned lives gradually spiralling out of control. They realize that only through reconciling with themselves can they reach the other side.
