Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells the expedition story of an archaeological team traversing ancient lands to find the remains of King Gesar.
Six years ago, archaeological researcher Lin Guohua mysteriously disappeared in Tibet after trying to prove the existence of King Gesar. His daughter Lin Xi (Qu Jingjing) has grown up succeeding her father's trade and with the help of Uncle Da (Xing Hanqing), she continues the quest. By chance, they encounter Ma Qiang (Wei Qianxiang), a retired special forces soldier, and he becomes their driver and guide. At the most critical moment, a Tibetan girl named Zhuoma (Wu Jingyi) comes to the rescue. The four come to form the Tibetan Raiders team dedicated to unraveling the mystery. At the same time, Qin Zhong (Jackie Lui) sends his subordinate Brother Sen (Chen Jian) to seize the treasure marking the start to a desperate battle over the treasure.
