Synopsis and Plot Summary
During the end of the Qing Dynasty, the wealthy Master Bai of Jiangnan was killed. Bounty hunter Pinyuan receives orders to go to Baisha Town to solve the case, and he slowly discovers that Master Bai died because he knew a secret.
For the sake of a secret that the late Master Bai knew, the four wives of the Bai family, the Japanese and the bandits surfaced one after another. As bounty hunter Pinyuan (Qian Yongchen) launches his investigation, he reailzes that his own father and Master Bai's deaths were all because of a treasure map. Thirteen years ago, Japan's Blue Dragon Society hired Pinyuan's father to explore the area and he unexpectedly discovered a large gold mine; Pinyuan’s father was tragically murdered for being unwilling to handover the map. Relying on his intelligence and bravery, Pinyuan is determined to solve the mystery.
