Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells the story of An Jing, a lonesome high school girl with low self-esteem who heals herself through writing novels. In her stories, the three heroines with different personalities also project An Jing's own growth, allowing her to accept the imperfections of life and bid farewell to her 17 years old without regret.
In the process of writing a campus novel called "Goodbye, Seventeen", An Jing (Zhang Zimu), a high school student living in the small town of Songxi has created the protagonists of three stories: Anna, An Qi, and An Jing. They go through different time and space to meet different classmates including the cowardly academic genius Han Yun (Chen Pinyan), the warm school senior Chu Yu (Shi Mingze), and the twin brothers Cheng Haoxuan (Wang Jiahui) and Cheng Haoyu (Shi An). The classmates go from strangers to friends. During their tense school life, they experience the bitterness of adolescence together to finally usher in the moment of transformation at the age of 17.
