Warriors of Future

In the futuristic world, the earth is in shambles due to environmental pollution. To make matters worse, a meteorite strikes bringing with it the destructive alien vine "Pandora" that threatens to devour the city and endanger the lives of all human beings.

With the fate of mankind in jeopardy, commander-in-chief Li Sheng (Nick Cheung) sends an elite army led by soldier Tai Lai (Louis Koo) to carry out a mission. However, they are suddenly attacked leaving only Tai Lai and communication operator Guang Zai (Wan Guopeng) as the sole survivors. At this time, officer Tan Bing (Carina Lau) insists on implementing the backup plan. Commander Zheng Chongsheng (Sean Lau) disagrees and brings in his old friend Skunk (Philip Keung) as reinforcement. Saving the homeland is the utmost priority but Tai Lai discovers a sinister conspiracy through the help of correspondent Xiao Lu (Wu Qian).

• Warriors of Future reportedly had a budget of over 450,000,000 HKD (approx 57 million USD).
• From pre-production to post-production, it took 10 years to complete the film.
• Filming lasted around 4 months from February 12, 2017 to June 5, 2017.

• Warriors of Future became the number one grossing domestic film (HK$81,907,591) in Hong Kong upon its release that was later surpassed by 2023's A Guilty Conscience.
