Synopsis and Plot Summary
Everyday, there are life-saving stories between doctors and patients at Marshall Paxton Hospital with the three core departments of ER, Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery under the leadership of Yeung Yat-to and Tong Ming.
Yeung Yat-to (Roger Kwok) hopes to promote changes in the hospital so that deaths will no longer arise simply because patients can't afford medicine. However, his plans are called into question by oncologist Ip Ching (Nancy Wu). Ip Ching is a new arrival at Marshall Paxton Hospital.
Unexpectedly, Ip Ching falls for Tong Ming (Kenneth Ma) and becomes impressed with his superb medical skills. However, Tong Ming only cares about his fiancée, ER doctor So Yee (Natalie Tong). At the same time, Lee Man Shuen (Moses Chan), a doctor with dual professional qualifications who was once part of Doctors Without Borders joins the ER department. He is the ex of Yat-to's girlfriend Lui Oi Ning (Kelly Cheung).
