Synopsis and Plot Summary
Shi Jian's girlfriend died from drowning even though there was not even a trace of water. Due to her bizarre death, Shi Jian begins to investigate strange events to no avail. One day, he picks up a magic key that can allow him to go anywhere in the world.
Shi Jian's (Shao Zhuang) eyes are opened to a new world upon finding a magic key yet his discovery has attracted the unwanted attention of various forces. During this period, Shi Jian meets three friends - Xiaoshu (Tang Xiaoran), Lu Ping (Tian Song), and Xiaogui. He learns that there are many objects similar to the key that possess various magical abilities.
Shi Jian deduces that his girlfriend's death may be related to the object, so he and his friends search high and low to collect said objects in order to find out his girlfriend's cause of death. As they get closer to the truth, the origin of the objects gradually comes to the surface thereby opening the curtains to a huge conspiracy and an unprecedented crisis.
