Synopsis and Plot Summary
An assassin from Lihen Valley has received his very first mission. However, he fails to complete the mission, becomes a target and discovers that he has become involved in a conspiracy that had been in the making for many years.
Qi Junyuan (Feng Shaofeng) of the assassin organization known as Lihen Valley has been secretly investigating the cause behind the annihilation of his family while accepting his first mission. Things go wrong and he becomes a target to be pursued and killed by the political court of two kingdoms as well as other assassination organizations. He is even being regarded as a traitor by Lihen Valley that has sent four assassins and his own master to hunt him down. Faced with the sudden change, Qi Junyuan uses his unique "skillset" to stop the conspiracy.
Fun Facts
- It was meant to be a big-budget production by Le Visioin Pictures with Song of the Assassins drama and movie versions planned concurrently.
- The drama was shot from May 28, 2017 to August 25, 2017. The movie started filming on November 11, 2017 and wrapped in early 2018 featuring a different cast.
- It hasn't been able to air for years. The production company faced issues. Former Le Vision Pictures Founder and CEO Zhang Zhao also passed on February 3, 2021 due to illness.
- It was finally released as a web movie in 2022.
- It featured late actor Kenneth Tsang as the movie was released after his passing on April 27, 2022.
