Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story about the struggles in China's insurance industry follows Tang Tianshou, a man who may have the detective skills yet has all the bad luck. After going through untold hardships to solve six major insurance cases, he also wins the heart of his heroine Tong Xinyuan.
Tang Tianshou (Dayo Wong) has always been obsessed with becoming a detective and because of this, he doesn't have a proper job and basically achieved nothing. It was not until his fiancée dumped him and he got beaten up for entering the women's toilet by mistake that he decides to get his life together.
Through the help of his brother-in-law Zhi Hou (Benz Hui), Tianshou lands a job at an insurance company. To his surprise, he encounters his "enemy" Tong Xinyuan (Lim Eun Kyeong) once again. Tianshou's words actually bring clarity to Xinyuan who reallizes that her fiance, Zhong Ren (Lee Wei), has been cheating on her.
Tianshou and Gao Ming (Zhang Tianlin), the company's "insurance elite", both develop feelings for Xinyuan. In order to win over Xinyuan, Gao Ming purposely makes things difficult for his rival Tianshou. However, Tianshou manages to crack a case that allows his colleagues to see him in a new light. By chance, Tianshou meets his ex-fiancee again without knowing that it's a disaster waiting to happen. Bizarre cases keep coming, Tianshou and Xinyuan cooperate tacitly, but they are also in extreme danger as they both become murder targets.
