Synopsis and Plot Summary
Ding Liaoliao chose journalism to follow in the footsteps of her role model Lian Geyao. They end up living under one roof along with Liaoliao's younger brother Ding Man. Liaoliao starts off on the wrong foot with Jiang Kan who's a doctor of pharmacy. At the same time, Ding Man falls for Lian Geyao but feels there is too much distance between himself and his goddess.
Ding Liaoliao (Zhang Chuhan) who graduated with a degree in journalism has successfully landed a job at Jiangxia TV station. She is ecstatic at the chance to work with her idol, ace anchor Lian Geyao (Lu Yuxiao), on a new program about people's livelihoods. Through a series of circumstances, Lian Geyao becomes roommates with Ding Liaoliao and her younger brother Ding Man (Xie Xingyang).
Due to work, Ding Liaoliao has interacted with Doctor of Pharmacy Jiang Kan (Zhang Kangle) several times and they have come to dislike each other because of many "oolong" incidents. Nonetheless, they eventually grow closer as Ding Liaoliao's enthusiasm, cheerfulness and optimism gradually leads the taciturn and indifferent Jiang Kan to open up. Ding Liaoliao's serious and responsible attitude towards work and innate sense of justice makes Jiang Kan like he even more. Meanwhile, Taekwondo coach Ding Man has a one-sided crush on Lian Geyao. Will his feelings ever be reciprocated?
