Synopsis and Plot Summary
Fifteen hundred years after the Battle of the Gods, the Heavenly Realm is in decline. Yang Jian, a deity who has been wronged and lives in destitution, is now a bounty hunter.
One day, Yang Jian accepts a job from a mysterious visitor to hunt down a young man whom he discovers to be his own nephew Chen Xiang. Chen Xiang is determined to find the Lotus Lantern and would destroy a mountain to save his mother, yet his actions will ultimately result in a catastrophe. Yang Jian embarks on a journey of chase down Chen Xiang while uncovering a past that's been buried in the dust...
