Synopsis and Plot Summary
Thousands of years ago, the green snake was able to cultivate and gain form due to the help of Daoqing who gave up the Qiyuguo for her sake and had to enter the calamity of reincarnation.
For hundreds of years, the Green Snake (Gillian Chung) has never given up on her search for Daoqing to save him from the cycle of life and death. At the foot of Jiling Mountain, Cui Lan (Lin Youwei), a demon hunter in Luoyang Town, notices a change in Yanyu Tower and receives orders from his master to vanquish the demon haunting the area.
At this time, Cui Lan accidentally breaks the barrier of Jiling Mountain and falls to the bottom of the lake after being stabbed. The Green Snake rescues him and senses that he was Daoqing. Meanwhile, land deity Zi Yue (Henry Prince Mak) who is the guardian of Jiling Mountain has been silently protecting the green snake.
