Love Meter

Synopsis and Plot Summary

Su Man is a strong female executive working in the foreign division. Because she's secretly in love with Tsinghua graduate Song Yi, Su Man gives up her career to work as a small clerk in order to begin her vigorous journey to chasing love. The only person who knows the truth about Su Man is her direct boss Lu Licheng who also happens to be Song Yi's competitor.

Through their interactions at work, Lu Licheng (Wallace Chung) gradually falls in love with Su Man (Janine Chang) but she simply regards him as a thorn on her side for interfering with her attempts to get closer to Song Yi (Jia Nailiang). All of her hard work pays off when she finally gets Song Yi's attention after confessing her feelings to him one rainy day. Lu Licheng becomes depressed upon hearing the news and stops appearing before Su Man.

Song Yi even travels thousands of miles to the United States just to have a date with Su Man, yet everything changes when she comes back to the country. She never would've expected that it would be Lu Licheng who has come to pick her up after she returns from her business trip. Su Man realizes that her best friend Mala Soup (Han Xiting) is no longer the carefree girl she once knew. What's worse, Song Yi has become Mala Soup's boyfriend. Many unexpected events ensue in Su Man's life and the past between Song Yi and Mala Soup is gradually revealed.
