Synopsis and Plot Summary
Ye Luo, a girl with supernatural abilities accidentally summons a fox demon, the 9th imperial uncle Cang Lanye. Along with the crown prince and his cousin Ye Shuwei, the duo enter into a daily battle of wits and will.
Ye Luo (Lu Fangqi) is accidentally bound a contract with the 9th imperial uncle Cang Lanye (Wen Yuan) that gives her the ability to forcibly summon him. She also discovers that this powerful and mysterious prince has two forms as a human and a half-demon. Ye Luo and Cang Lanye try to outsmart each other, yet they gradually fall in love in the process of forming an alliance. However, Cang Lanye decides he must stay away from Ye Luo in order to prevent his half-demon side from getting out of control due to the contract. As he tries to suppress his powers, their relationship ushers in a new crisis.
