Synopsis and Plot Summary
Chivalrous hero Shi Tianqing has been commissioned to protect the young miss of the Jiang manor who believes that gossip tabloids can be a very lucrative trade. Somehow, they end up forming a team with the scholarly Lin Yuqian.
Jiang Chuanyu (Vivian Cao) who hails from a rich family believes that there's a lot of business opportunities in gossip such as "jianghu tabloids," yet she ends up being reprimanded by her father. Jiang Chuanyu runs away from home in a fit of rage, determined to show her father what she can do. Jiang Chuanyu's mother secretly hires Shi Tianqing (Mu Ziyang), the world's number one swordsman, to protect her.
Along the way, the two cross paths with Jiang Chuanyu's fiance Lin Yuqian (Wang Zuyi). The three of them make bank after working together to carry out the "Star" project. However, crisis ensues due to fan wars and threats from sisheng (obsessive) fans. Jiang Chuanyu tries to navigate different groups and also finds it difficult to choose between two men. She gradually discovers that the culprit of several attacks is connected with the Jiang family.
