Synopsis and Plot Summary
With his father suffering from Alzheimer's disease, Xiao Wu returns to their old house to find clues about his mother. At this time, the most unexpected thing happens that takes Xiao Wu back to the 1980s.
Xiao Wu (Chang Yuan) who acts as a substitute gamer for others often lazes around with nothing better to do. His father Lao Wu (Wei Xiang) has late-stage Alzheimer's disease. The only memories his father have left are those of his late mother Da Liu (Ma Li). In hopes that any remembrance of his mother can help with his father's illness, Xiao Wu goes back to their old home where he recovers a dusty diary and a ring box. Somehow, he gains the ability to travel back to the 1980s. Due to Xiao Wu's arrival, the fates of his parents and their old friends undergo earth-shaking changes.
