Synopsis and Plot Summary

In the spring of 1979, Jinjiang had barren lands. Gao Jinyang and Ye Shouli who are very much like brothers argued over how to escape from poverty. Back then, the Gao and Ye families struggled and their livelihoods were difficult.

With a small fishing boat, Gao Jinyang and his wife begin to engage in the business of trade. Meanwhile, their eldest son, Gao Haisheng (Yu Xiaoguang), and daughter-in-law, Ye Dalian (Gan Tingting), used up everything they had to set up a garment factory. From a workshop, their business grows into a clothing enterprise with several factories.

Ye Shouli (Gan Yu) remains unwavering in his devotion towards the piece of land before him and ventures into agricultural planting and production. By combining technology with traditional methods, he discovers ways to get rich through agriculture. His daughter Ye Erlian (Mei Baolai) also becomes a leader in Jinjiang's specialty food industry. As the enterprise grows bigger and stronger, they withstand tests time and again. The sons and daughters of the Gao family and the Ye family follow in the footsteps of their fathers to grow in their respective industries and create opportunities for products 'Made in Jinjiang."
