Synopsis and Plot Summary
Sheep Without a Shepherd tells the story of a father using the knowledge he picked up from movies to cover up a murder after his daughter accidentally kills her attacker.
Li Weijie (Xiao Yang) and his wife Ayu (Tan Zhuo) have been in Thailand for 17 years. They have two daughters. A man in his forties, Li Weijie makes a living through his internet company. He is also quite popular among the residents of the town. However, everything came crashing down in an instant.
In this border town where drug trafficking and smuggling are rampant, fairness and justice has crumbled in the face of various powers. Li Weijie's eldest daughter Pingping (Xu Wenshan) who was raped by the inspector general's son mistakenly kills him. Knowing that the law is useless, Li Weijie buries the body and hides all traces of evidence in order to protect his family.
