Synopsis and Plot Summary
Xie Lian, the Crown Prince of Xianle Kingdom accidentally destroys the golden palace of a lot of heavenly officials during his third ascension. He is sent down to the mortal world to get rid of ghosts in order to earn enough merits to patch things up. In his journey, Xie Lian is accompanied by two officials who have come to help him and encounters the ghost king Hua Cheng. Through a series of incidents, the seemingly magnificent yet heavy past of the gods in the heavens are gradually revealed.
